Sweetest Honey Poem by Michael Walkerjohn

Sweetest Honey

In the wild, to find
the source of sweetest honey
one must find; a bear!

Preferably one
female without attachments
no mate; no worries

sometimes however
that female bear has suitors
well, still no worries

this female well knows
her life's true territory
better for me too…

follow her; always
keeping a distance away
from her teeth and claws

that relationship
is held in nature's beauty
deep in pristine lands

so, why I compare
a female bear to human
females everywhere?

do get real people
human females are big bears!
handle ‘them' with care…

earn ‘their' respects well
but, keep well ‘their' wonderings
so, you can return

to that ‘well' of life
profoundly humbling ‘her'
and with caution yes…

provide ‘her' with smiles
through acts of worth and with words
that speak utter truth…

and show ‘her' that worth
that ‘she' truly so deserves
to uplift ‘her' life!

This is what is right
between a husband and wife
why not between friends?

those of US who wright
express honour through our works
across all the wires…

it is understood
that words break US, or make US
so, wright what is right…

and do never doubt
of your many intentions
just let your soul shout…

express through all means
each one of your connections
so ‘she' clearly knows…

this word smythes works pose
clearly honorable throes
like; sweetest honey…

inspired by the word works of our Nosheen Irfan
