Sympathy For The Sun Poem by Rachel Flint

Sympathy For The Sun

I do not blame the sun
If it feels jealous
After all
How can it compete
With Las Vegas?

I do not blame the moon
If it feels plain
After all
How can it compete
With a million street lights?
