System Error Poem by Ima Ryma

System Error

I was in my condo alone
One night and fast asleep in bed,
Snoozing away in dreamland zone,
Turned into a nightmare instead.
I woke up to a crashing sound,
Which turned out to be my front door.
Suddenly, cops were all around.
Guns pulled, they pushed me on the floor.
My hands were handcuffed behind me.
A cop read my rights from a card.
Demands made where my drug stash be.
My first arrest was hard and cold.

It could have been much worse, I guess.
The cops went to the wrong address.
