Systematic Drive Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Systematic Drive

Systematic drive

Where hands failed
Machines were availed
To move at faster pace
And win the disastrous race

No it is no exactly war
It is taking us far
It is systematic drive
For nature to die

No trees are needed
So they are cut and traded
The fertile land is turning barren
Hell is emerging from heaven

So the machines have brought death verdict
Many birds and animals have become extinct
Even human race is threatened with deadly diseases
The unknown diseases are on increase

Machines may deliver result
But the earth belt is torn apart
Fertility is lost
At tremendous cost

We shall weep alter
When complete change is nature's order
We shall die of hunger
With less input of grain
