T He Sea Brings Back Nothing
I wonder
looking long into the ocean
of unknown distances
yachts hoisted
fast riding into the tides
to reach the distant shores
undiscovered
buried deep in your heart
solitude sings the last lullaby
to the lost child of waves
I have given all my dreams to the ocean
I waited upon these dark banks
thinking the sea shall return
some of them
filled to the brim
but the sea brings back nothing.
