T.R.U.S.T. Poem by Luke Easter

TOTAL means everything, inclusive, from A to Z,
RELIANCE of the Lord’s Word in all you believe,
UNDER creation of the sun, moon, galaxies & stars,
STRESSFUL situations or how pressurized they are.

TIMES that never change unless it’s for the worse,
In a race by yourself you still will not come in first,
Oh yeah, the devil is on you like the cheapest suit,
Without planting a tree how can anyone bear fruit?

Very brief instances of solidarity, maybe one or two,
But it does not last long, where is the breakthrough?
Relax, don’t panic, T.R.U.S.T. that it’s on the way,
You’re not at a smorgasbord, neither is this a buffet.

T.R.U.S.T. isn’t going to God complaining about pain,
Flowers don’t bloom in the dessert where there is no rain,
Crying because you’re currently in a somewhat dry season,
Where does it say a Potter needs to give the clay a reason?

Don’t look now Sherlock Holmes but here are a few clues,
Abraham, Isaac & Jacob, were they or were they not Jews?
And did they or did they not still have to pay their own dues?
OK then, why is it the price we are paying any worse news?

Take a minute and look at the end results, aren’t they great?
Would your soul be saved had Jesus not suffered His fate?
When rejected in a city the disciples just shook off the dust,
So, what is going happen to those who refuse to T.R.U.S.T.?

When there’s TOTAL confidence GOD will come through,
By your RELIANCE on the scriptures, what else is new?
Don’t put your self UNDER pressure blessings will come,
Release that STRESSFUL feeling, for JESUS is the ONE.

These are the TIMES to dig deep in the Word that you believe,
Someone emailed me a truth stating our faith is the real key,
Well, faith and trust are synonymous because they interchange,
You can’t have one without the other and expect kingdom gain.

This may sound a little funny to some but it’s certainly no joke,
3 Hebrew boys walked from fire without smelling like smoke,
There are many other scenarios that can easily come to mind,
We all need to have, “Total Reliance Under Stressful Times.”
