T'Was The Night Of Halloween

T'was the night of Halloween
And the trick-o-treaters where all gone
I had just layed down in bed
When my dog king, started to bark and moan

I got up to see what was going on
Out in the neighbors yard was a big bonfire
With Witches standing all around
It was easy to tell, they was talking to a higher power

When out of the fire sparks did fly
And a big red image did appear
They instantly dropped to their knees
And they all looked to be in fear

He then swung around His big fork
And ambers where flying every where
Then pointed it in my direction
That's when I dropped down for a prayer

When I looked back out, He was gone
The witches were stirring in the fire
They might have powers but,
It was obvious His was much higher

It wasn't long till the fire was out
And on their brooms they flew away
My dogs howled for several nights
It was quite a site is all I can say
