Tagore Song (#111) Please Allow Me To Hold Thy Feet

(choron dhorite diyogo amare)

Please allow me to hold Thy feet
Please don’t; Oh do not take them away
I want to hold ‘em wrapping my heart
All thru my life, death, pleasure and pain
This burden of desire of displaced limp
How long have to be carried by me, Lord!
Please thread the necklace by Thyself
And do not keep me scattered over, Lord!

Please kill my ever-thirsty-desire pain
Let it be killed and be the winner
By losing himself to Thou
I cannot carry from door to door
This repeatedly abnormal beggar
Please take me at Thy feet
Making Thine, receiving by Thy garland!
