Tagore Song (#113) Saves Thy Name On My Chest In Pleasure And Pain Poem by Tushar Ray

Tagore Song (#113) Saves Thy Name On My Chest In Pleasure And Pain

(amar mukher kotha tomar nam diye dao dhuye)

Please wash my words by Thy holy name
Please keeps Thy name remaining silent
Let the strings of my heart’s Bina
Sing gladly by Thy name’s rhythm
After the rhythm of my blood stream
Let all stars holding Thy name awaken
Depicting new streaks of lights next

Let Thy light-emitted Name light up
My hopes and desires
And let Thy Name carvings persist
In all my hopes and desires
Let Thy Name be expressed
At the end of all my works
I will save Thy Name on my chest
In pleasure and pains

Thy Name will stay as secret nectar
In this lotus of my life and
Later on, I will surrender
Thy Name to Thyself by my death
