Tagore Song (147) Life-Giver Is Now Engaged In Celebrating Death Poem by Tushar Ray

Tagore Song (147) Life-Giver Is Now Engaged In Celebrating Death

(na banchabe amaya Jodi marbe keno tobe)

If Thou do not save my life
Why would Thou kill me?
What are these arrangements for -?
These hues and crying
With arrow-case full of firearms
Making the earth tremble
My life-giver being now engaged
In celebrating the death!

If Thou can’t find the cause
Why do Thee slice my heart this way?
So by gifting Thy crown jewel
My heart will make my Lord alive?
Amid these sorrows of death!
