Tagore Song (#2) I'M Unfit Of Thy Precious Gift Poem by Tushar Ray

Tagore Song (#2) I'M Unfit Of Thy Precious Gift

(amonihar amayi nahi saaje)

Oh my darling
This crown jeweled necklace
Does not fit me at all
It hurts me when I wear
Pains me if I wish to tear
I'm misfit of your costly gift

My throat becomes chocked
Heart's tuning gets lost
My mind being stuck there
I cannot perform my duty

So, I'm waiting keenly
To adorn you
With this costly gift of yours
And to beg you instead
A garland of fresh wild flowers
Oh my love, please save me!
