Tagore Song (278) Along The Path Of This Forgotten Wind The Buds Are Being Shredded

(ei udashi hawayar pothe pothe mukul guli jhore)

Along the path of this mindless wind
The buds are being shredded
I picked them up, placed at your feet
Please accept lovingly
Me gone if blooming in your embrace
May your garlanding fingers remember
Me in sweet discomfort

Sleepless Bou-Kotha-Kou bird
Becomes fade up in fruitless calling
In this very drunken night
Ear to ear talking among two-
The lost hearts of two lovers-
These traces will be laced in garland
For tomorrow idle afternoon
