Tagore Song (#36) How Elegantly Thou Came In My Heart Poem by Tushar Ray

Tagore Song (#36) How Elegantly Thou Came In My Heart

“Moharaj eki saje ele hridoya majhe”

Oh Moharaj, my King of kings
How gorgeously Thou appeared
Into my inner heart this day
Causing moon, stars, and suns
Becoming lifeless in shame
And my whole mind-body-soul
Started singing like Bina-strings!

What a pleasurable pain
The gentle wind is carrying today
Thus every flower in the garden
Came to touch Thy feet, and
My eyes gaze without a twinkle
Not seeing anything else
Except Thy great gorgeous display!
