Tagore Song (400) Arrived At This New Land Down To Bottom My Boat, Coming To Land Floating

(elem notun deshe – tolayi gelo shunnyo tori kule elem vense)

Arrived at this new land
Down to bottom my boat, coming to land floating
Mind's fresh language be delivering another hope
Crafted by sorrow-joy network
Ringing the mind in new beats
Again reverting laughing-crying with a new pain

My nameless darling
Greeting my heart by unknown flower-garland
In Falgun-month with overflowing youth
In Nupur tied-feet dancing over the grasses
Blooming weave-plant joining Southern wind
Together with her flowing loose hair
