Tagore Song (#47) Thou Came In Empty Hands - Poem by Tushar Ray

(Aaji bigono ghore nishitho rate asbe Jodi)

Oh Thou appeared Empty handed
In my lonely room tonight
But Lord I am not worried
I'm happy to see Thy helping hands

Somehow I spent my earlier days
Only begging from Thee
It's now time for me to surrender
Let darkness prevail thru the sky
While Thy touch persist in my heart

I spent my life not knowing me
While swinging by life’s swings
Lord, from now on let me hug
My life and death from both ends
