Tagore Song (#57) Oh My Mind Please Grasp This Hue

Rating: 5.0

(Nodi-pare ei-asare probhat-khani ne-re)

Oh my mind please grasp this hue
To be embraced by your soul:
This glorious monsoon morning
On this river front exhibition

What a bliss has been spread out!
In green, blue and golden hues:
Intensely articulated under the sky
Oh my dear mind please clutch it

Walking the same way along life’s river
Pick up blossoms on both sides
Falling on your way, Oh mind
And start lacing them day and night
Making an ever-new garland
Renewing your consciousness
Please handle the blossoms gently!

What a powerful and simple poem, hitting intensely my mind, recognizing my own within it's realms. Thank you, Tushar. RoseAnn
