Take A Bath Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Take A Bath

Avoiding the most essential
fundamental of being clean
is the most crucial mistake ever...
Others stop breathing and turn green

No amount of original spring cologne
can freshen the latitude of extreme
Do us all a favor and take the plunge
Enjoy a long soak in a steamy stream

Bubble up with an ample amount of soap
Top your cranium with a sudsy crown
Scrub and gurgle in a cascade of novelty
I promise sincerely…you won't drown

Rinse away the stench and you will sparkle
Take notice… don't you feel great!
I'd like to take this moment to thank you
Happily… I don't have the urge to regurgitate
