Take A Night Off Poem by Adekunle Adedigba

Take A Night Off

The day is soon to end
And man is set to rest
If to serve each day we bend
Sweet sleep shall serve us best.
Sir I know you can rise
To give answers, and not excuses
Duty to people, death to problems
And rest a day a happy conscience.
'Cause I know you have put your good
Where it's needed most
When you wake in the morning
I'll be first to say 'Good morning.'

There is a call of the Hills
Answer the call to the Hills
Where God owns His mills
Working where love wins still
God isn't obtuse and boring;
So your future moments can't.
'Cause I know you have put your good
Where it's needed most
When you wake in the morning
I'll be first to say 'Good morning.'
