Take Away (Refrain Stanza) Poem by Gert Strydom

Take Away (Refrain Stanza)

(After William Shakespeare)

Take away the separation and its pain
with kisses and bliss that comes again,
take those eyes, that lips, that smile away
with glances sunny full of the light of day,
where everything seems to be totally in vain,
that elegantly as if innocent were forsworn
that came with faith and hope in the morn
where still your essence do with me remain,
with kisses and bliss that comes again.
