Take It With You When You Go Poem by White Tiger

Take It With You When You Go

They say when you go
You're not taking anything
But when I go
I'm taking everything

Leave nothing behind
I always say
Take it all with you
Any which way...

I'm taking my books
My pencils and pens
My paints and crayons
And my corrective lens
I'm taking my clothes
And my computer too
My camera and cell
And my blue suede shoes
My stereo
My TV
My radio
And my AC

For when I go
I'll be prepared
I'll take everything with me
That once I shared.
