Prayer Poem by racheal wiese

Prayer

The pounding of hearts when to lovers meet,

the anger in the brow with enemies in the street,

The heat of the sunshine the rain from above,

I open my heart to accept your love,

You hold my hand when I need you the most,

You're the father son and holly ghost

, through the trials and hard times in my life,

I feel you beside me like a husband to wife,

I know your there by my side even when I think I have no life,

You reach out and give me a glimpse of your love,

You shine your radiance on me from above,

I know that you love me and have a will for my life,

Take over from me Jesus and make everything right,

Let me not boast for I am not my own,

But lead me to live for you alone.

You have to ensure if you want your writing to endure that you spell correctly. One of the things readers of good poetry like is that at least basic english spelling is achieved. Try and remember the people who really love poetry also like your skills of presentation. Poor spelling means poor insight into your own poems. I hope you realise I am only being critical because you have a lot of talent........spelling correctly should be a given if you wish to be a writer well read.
