sets the cat among pigeons
and faithful cry boo
taking hedonists head on.

In most religions, the faithful have begun to doubt their preachers. Are they walking the talk? Do they practice what they preach?
hedonist- one who thinks pursuing pleasure is life's sole purpose.

So true, Narayana. Such religion is worthless, though common. However, there are people who live up to John 13: 34,35, if you look carefully.
