The Depressed
THE DEPRESSED

people in sorrow
drown.slowly; have.date with death
as heartless, wallow
arrows and sharp barbs
verbally aimed, hit target
in casual garb
God alone is judge
man's laws can't catch delinquent
abusers don't budge
time for empathy
let the sick open their.hearts
divine, not pity

delinquent: habitual petty criminal
The poem is concerned with people suffering from depression. Depression is debilitating.Those who are close to the sick person, should empathize and find out what exactly is bothering. Depression is often the end result of actions taken / words spoken, by some heartless individuals, who are delinquents, in a way. If possiblewell wishersshould try to resolve the nagging problem.Loose and irresponsible talk in front of the individual will further aggravate. Recovery is a long drawn process.
