Taming The Royal Bengal Tiger
you are hereby warned
task easier said than done
to try were you conned?
are you in fray just for fun
then hope.to bask in the sun?
thing like that happened;
as our boys took them head on
poem I.penned.
Rohit-Rahul, their bats donned
a grand structure built and.done
tigers had to pant
as our batters.made merry
Kohli and Pant
a joy ride on a ferry
then misery in.a.hurry
rest fretted and fumed
Dhoni's middle failed to click
by tigers consumed
as thorns in flesh.tally stuck
at end, tigers came.unstuck
our bowlers struggled
they were belted all around
Shami they hassled
team a bowler short - we found
big mistake when on the ground
that old tormentor
Shakib, had fun with bowlers
tough-nut to capture
then Saif milked our howlers
were.boys throwing in.towels?
Kohli asked Pandya
'go, you are our.last resort '
his job was quite dear
then.Bumrah.came out to sort
and get wickets with.sharp darts
tigers dusted, done
boys heaved a.sigh of relief
post so much tension
knock-out waits, first rest-in-brief
and for proud boys, our high five

Pant- a dashing young Indian batsman, exciting
Bumrah-our main strike bowner
Shami-our highest wicke3t taker
Pandya- an exciting young all rounder, who is equally good batting or bowling.His medium pace has come in handy for India.
Shakib- Bangaldesh all-rounder, highest rungetter in this world cup
Saif- Bangladesh batsman who toyed with Indian bowling
to come unstuck- to fail
howler- stupid mistake
throw the towel- to give up, to stop
