Tanka For Our Grandchildren - Poem by Martin J. O'Malley, Jr.

Imagine Planet
Earth, a depleted planet,
Mourning the remains
Of the Industrial World,
Whose bones to Greed we have hurled ...

Lo! Our best efforts
To produce and research pure
Solar Energy
Will assure our Grandchildren
Of life that's pollution-free!!!

Will our Grandchildren
Receive from us their just due,
A Solar-Abode ??? ...
Or, the aforementioned sphere,
That Pollution's Hand doth hold ...
Haiku For Homo Sapiens From Pure African
Homo Erectus evolved
Homo Sapiens...
