(tanka) Prairie Home Pearl Poem by Bill Galvin

(tanka) Prairie Home Pearl

Keillor long ago…
"Two things that money can't buy…
The first is true love;
Second, home-grown tomatoes."
Red, ripe on my balcony.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
My inspiration for this tanka truism was from Garrison Keillor on his Prairie Home Companion radio show of many years ago... it always stuck in my mind... and, of course, my cherry tomatoes in a container today.
