Tator Tot - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

Tator Tot - Lincoln Park Zoo

A lion cub does claw and chew,
And so no matter where I'm at
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo,
I'm ready - this little big cat
To check out all the stuff around
For chewing and clawing appeal.
One keeper given thing I've found,
That for me is a preferred deal
Is a sweet potato, it's called.
At first with it I like to play.
It's fun to roll because it's balled.
Then I claw and chew it away.

With teeth and claws, this spud is smashed.
I like my sweet potatoes mashed.
