Teach the children wisdom
they must know
it is the essence of life
that is used to grow
they should understand
that the soul is a light
the lamp of divinity
of which should shine bright

teach the children to practice
discipline and not to fight
should the need arise to
to defend themselves
it must be for what is right
parents you are the shield
to remove any obstacles
from their path
let the knowledge you train them
to follow must never part

teach the children to respect
the law of the land
that as they prepare to become leaders
the opportunity will come for them to command
wherever they walk
should not tempt them
tp follow what is wrong
the mind they control
will give them the power
to govern and be strong

teach the children
to find peace within that
they will learn to share
the purpose of humanity
is to build castles
of faith that will not disappear
to feel the joyfulness of living
in this world depends on time
whatever action that has the truth
will not lead to crime.
