Teacher Earth Poem by Ima Ryma

Teacher Earth

Each day if I am able to,
I go outside and take a walk.
Whatever season going through,
The birds and trees to me all talk.
Though in a city I do live,
I walk through parks and places where
Each animal and plant does give
A nature lesson to me there.
The singing birds, the rustling trees,
Each educates in its own way,
Sending me lessons through the breeze,
Good knowledge for me any day.

Each day to nature I return,
The more from teacher Earth to learn.
