They teach how to write
They guided how to read

They repeated the knowledge
They educated their pupils

They prevented any ill treatments
So students respected the teachers

Like the followers obeyed their holy man
Teachers are more than the instructors

They are also a giver, advisor and good example
As student's miracle can be achieved by them

'ผู้จับวางอย่างไรในลิขิต
ผู้สอนคิดประดิษฐ์งานให้อ่านเขียน
ผู้ถ่ายทอดถอดหลักแก่นักเรียน
ผู้พากเพียรสอนสั่งยังวิชา

ช่วยปกป้องคลองธรรมนำจริต
เกื้อกูลศิษย์จูงใจให้ศึกษา
ศิษย์เคารพนบนอบตอบบูชา
เฉกศรัทธาสาวกผงกตาม

เป็นมากกว่าครูดีคอยชี้ช่อง
ช่วยประคองข้องขัดตัดขวากหนาม
ประพฤติตนตัวอย่างสร้างดีงาม
ย่อมอร่ามเรืองรองผองศิษย์เอย'
