Teardrops Poem by Brian Stafford

Teardrops

And as the rain clouds came,
it couldn't dampen my flame,
They were calling out my name,
but I won't take the blame,
With the music washing round,
to an atmospheric sound,
They were shouting out aloud,
to the joy of the crowd,
Let the teardrops of angels
run down my back,
Let the teardrops of angels
rest gently on my head.
