Technology Poem by Brian Stafford

Technology

Rating: 5.0

Years and years
of honing skills,
Years and years
of tradition;

Ways an means
no longer needed,
Age old practice
becomes archaic;

Ways of life
vanish overnight,
Friends and colleagues,
a distant sight;

Cast aside like
a broken toy,
Discarded like
a empty packet;

Swept aside by a
brand new way,
Swept aside by a
Technological...
tidal wave.

Very true. The technologies, in general and the information technology in particular, alongwith it's advanced gadgets has more or less snatched away a major portion of traditional human traits and left human beings associates of machines/robots. Thanks for sharing the thought provoking poem.10 points.
