I could not even get teardrops in my eyes
I could not even tell her the state of my heart
My heart was wounded so bad
I could not even show my wounds to her
Whenever I think of her
Even if I tried not to
I could not hide the teardrops in my eyes
Some such people have come into my life
The one I could never forget in my lifetime
Just so that I don’t ever hurt her
Just so that she does not feel so bad
I do not tell her my woes
People laugh at my state
People laugh at my life
People make fun of my loneliness
I could not even hide the color of my face
In the fire of loneliness I continue to burn
But I could never forget the distance between us
Just like teardrops in my eyes are never far from my eyes.
