Tears And Death Poem by michael Smajda

Tears And Death

I, unfortunately, saw lot of crying.
Sadly, enough, I saw a lot of dying
As whistling artillery shells kept flying
O'er soldiers trapped in war, no denying.

From the sidelines where I, safely, stood,
I watched the forces of evil and good
Destroy each other the best they could
At expense of treasured manhood!
