Tears Held Back For A Hundred Days Or So Poem by Airda Jones

Tears Held Back For A Hundred Days Or So

I thought I was broken before
But somehow I broke again
And it always seems like the nice ones
Who really hurt me in the end

And this time the tears finally
Flowed free when they weren't suppose to come
I was hoping that to be the end of it
But it seems like I have just begun

Now I am shaking and furious
At the quizzical glances my way
But more depressed and breaking
But not caring what it is that they say

I can only give my best
To one single person at a time
Maybe it would be easier if
I just gave up and no longer tried

But that would only pass on all
Of my sufferings to the ones I love
So I must keep going
But I want so much to just give it all up.
