You kept saying that the price of love is tears
I kept thinking that now
With me you will have no need
to pay that price.

With me the sun shines
On your happy face.
For i would never let
The dark vale, veil our Love.
Touch wood.

But instead i find
Again and again
I look outside to defend against
What is coming from behind inside.

Your own fears.
You let me in your walls,
You wanted love.
Now your fears,
Fear me out.

Have you thought that.
The person i am.
Who came to you.
when you called,
Would hurt you.

Cause you to cry?

To protect yourself.
From imagined hurt.
Withdrawning behind your walls
You inflict tears on me.
