Tears Of Passage Poem by Margaret O Driscoll

Tears Of Passage

It hadn't hit me, I wondered why -
it all seemed so surreal
until a memory melded in my mind then formed in a tear

More teardrops formed fast
blurring up my eyes
Those tricky tears of passage they took me by surprise

Rivulets of teardrops trickled
I let them freely flow
When you least expect it
our deepest feelings show
