Tell It Like It Is Poem by Stanley Cooper

Tell It Like It Is

Tell it like it is
Or it's not worth the telling
If you're in the telling biz
It's the truth you should be selling

Write with no pretense
Even though you might some jar
Don't fear the consequence
Just write things as they are

Write of your convictions
Even if some writers don't agree
Don't fall slave to their restrictions
In your writing potpourri
