Rating: 4.8

I will not cry, just wanna know about your past, so tell me
Tell me have you ever loved a woman?
Did she love you? did she call you 'my man'?

Tell me have you ever dreamt about her and there, did you kiss her at last?
Did you pounce at your clock when it called you for another hopeless beginning, another breakfast?

Tell me have you ever been melted in a woman's eye?
Did she promise her heart to you forever, until she die?

Tell me have you ever written her name on your hand, mirror, or papers?
Did she say'your absence' when you asked about the reason of her nightmares?

Tell me have you ever lost your love, your lover, your woman?
Did you add her name in the black list of your fans?

Tell me
Tell me now
Could you forget her? do you love me?

my love: ……………….

This tear, you see in my eye, is one droplet of a sea!

Creating a sense of interaction through the employment of direct questions to the Reader...is an old and wise poetic stradegy...This querious style, stimulates the Readrer's intrigue, and generates involuntary reaction, albeit through the mind's-eye, as at one time or another, haven't we have all mused about such questions when we are in love..., or directed such questions at they whom we love, from our heart's human need, at times, for re-assurance...? In addition, and probably most importantly, this style generates an air that enables the Reader to consider themself an active participant in your work, as they reel off their own personal responses to each of your queries, in their mind. I like this piece...it smacks of originality & reality! Solid Penning, Negar! ~ FjR ~
