'how often you sailed in my dreams
and now you come in my awakening which is my deeper dream'
Gibran
I saw your eyes
And forgot those mistreatment and lies.
You drew smily face on ur finger, i smiled
And forgot that dark night, for you, i hardly cried.
You did not hug me, i did not kiss you, did we talk?
No, we just thought about this miracle, this luck.
I gave you piece of orange, i touched your lips, Ah i did not mean it,
Who can believe after 5 years its first time we meet!
17 years i was in a dream, i did not live
My real life was started with you, you're Adam, i'm Eve
Until we fall in love we dream of it.. And then it comes true.... A beautiful poem.. It is a pity that you are no longer active here... If you ever return, and see this.. Thanks for the poem., it is beautiful...
I love the passage with the orange, Fruit and Human Love reflect each other. Both are sweet, both can grow sweeter or fade, both are consumed by Life. But the Gibran quotation gives us faith in both love and nature. He creates a new reality through words that his waking life is a different kind of dream world. And your poem performs the same miracle for your life.
Hi dear Negar, NICE JOB It's nice to see an iranian write how beautiful.I give you 10. I hope you'll continue your try as well as possible. your friend Mehraneh.
good piece...the inner feelings of love and emotion perfectly spilling out in your poem lines...well done, Negar...i give you 10
Very intriguing piece trying to figure out what all has happened and is happening. A well chosen quote to introduce this poem. I would prefer a better word than “luck” though; maybe “this miracle, this happening or happenstance”.
