Temptation - Poem by Rachel Willcox
Starry eyes that see the sky,
they see above and want to fly.
Feeling hurt and peeking through
A looking glass, easy for you.
Temptation looms, I hold it back,
The chance to touch should I interact?
I want to know what it is your seeing,
Out those eyes that fill with being.
If my mind was to tell the truth,
Its you I want, what would be proof?
I look above, I look beyond,
To see the edge of this hellish pond.
With eyes so bright and a smile so cheeky,
How can I refuse the offer so meekly?
Too see those eyes so close to mine,
Would be the only thing I shouldnt decline!
