Tend To Forgive Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Tend To Forgive

Tend to forgive

It shows simple arrogance
Where people take chance
To show off their intelligence
And dream about being happy at once

Certain people are bound to suffer
As they advance further
And people leave one by one
The same situation, as you enjoyed, might have gone

God has given same intensity
Even better quality than you
But many feel shy to counter
And silently utter too

It is their greatness
That visibly they don't reflect on face
But strike
When time is ripe

All the time they may think of taking reprisal
And wait for that moment's arrival
But it shall never come as you don't tend to forgive
This false impression may never allow peace to live with
