Tendrils In The Dark Poem by RIC BASTASA

Tendrils In The Dark

THEN You fade
others see you as
a torn denim
a plastic
flower dusty beside
a wall

but your hope
is the sunset
a big, warm, orange
consolation because it
simply

faded as beautifully as it is.

and you silence fruits
with those tendrils in the dark
