Tenet Insanabile Multos Scribendi Cacoethes Poem by Ramona Thompson

Tenet Insanabile Multos Scribendi Cacoethes

Tenet insanabile multos scribeni cacoethes
The incurable itch to write possesses many
Poe, Shakespere, King
To name only a few
The problem?
None have or ever will aspire to write as well as the queen
Thompson, Ramona Thompson
A name that will one day live on in legend
In tales told far and wide
All around the world
She will be praised and remembered as the true master of her craft
An almost god like talent
A mystery as ageless as time itself
Never solved
Loved by one and all
Readers centurys after her passing still to remain spellbound
Building shrines and temples in her honor
Attempting to communicate with her pen
From far beyond the grave
Oh yes, it's true
Tenet insanabile multos scribendi cacoethes
The incurable itch to write possesses many
Yet only this one
Thompson, Ramona Thompson
Shall in this lifetime achieve this level of poetic immortality

2009 Ramona Thompson
