Terror Refugee Poem by Barry Middleton

Terror Refugee

Rating: 4.0

The terror of war,
the fear of all terror,

drives humanity
like the fear of death.
...
Love and peace,
and life and liberty,

are shining ideals
that crown a dream.
...
The terror of despair
gazes to the west,

trusting its embrace,
and the solace of hope.
