Looking to see the past
Throughout loving one 
Another, I saw the intimate 
Details I hoped to avoid
Words of love and longing
Hearts, smiles, caresses
Abound through out
We were different people
In love bonded by this heart
That we both endured
And for a time treasured
Searching for the inspired words 
I have so long desired to write
Never yielded their passage to me
So now I must traverse again
The valley of forsaken love
And  finally bring to light 
How I loved you
