Thank You For Your Reviews Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

To quote the words of Wordsworth,
Written in his ‘Rainbow’ Poem,
“My heart leaps up when I behold”
Reviews of my poems, written so bold.

I’m heartened by my fellow poets,
Whose understanding they do show it,
Of my poems posted on this site,
Which they’ve reviewed this very night.

But some do question constantly,
Why I do write abundantly,
But only rarely do review,
The poems they’ve posted for me and you?

Some poets find words appear, like now,
When least expected, and instantly
On paper, as my pen moves slow,
And this new poem begins to grow.

I had intended reviews to write,
As I often do, every night,
But as I do begin to pen,
Another poem gets written, again.
