Thankfulness Poem by Bryan Taplits

Thankfulness

An 'eureka' idea I had today
A diamond roughed I found,
A tree grown tall in one's backyard
An Atlas-now unbound!
It's then I thought and realized
On these days of shifting sands
That the greatest earthly gift is 'Gratitude'-
A stage on which we all stand
on shoulders of past-and passed-men.
