Thanks Again Poem by Marilyn Jean

Thanks Again

Before a second one has gone
Lets say this, all the truth
Thanks again to the magician
Things changed so much around
Inside me it was so painful
I am still here but hardly
But I am not the same at all
The transformation is so grand
And now I suffer from separation
When I probably should not
And this is worst than all
In love I ache so much more
Before I felt nothing at all
This is so cruel to be born
To the pain of love and loss
So, late in your forties'
Thanks again
Since as I wrote
Once, 'never again'
Shall we meet
And probably
It is better
Like this
Thanks
