Thanksgiving Dinner Poem by A Tanzanian Poet in America .

Thanksgiving Dinner

Rating: 5.0

We sit and stare at turkey large
The turkey's size is like a barge
We wait for our sweet hostess, miss
To give the turkey a big kiss
the turkey gets a great big smooch
And Hostess Miss sits on her pooch
The pooch, it had been in the chair
From morning time to evening prayer
The little petite pooch did bark
and our sweet Hostess Miss yelled 'Hark'
She tripped and fell and met her face?
Right where? right in the turkey's place
and so we then began to eat
Thanksgiving dinner without meat

I enjoyed this, but the turkey would still be good. Keep the turkey but throw her face away...

Lovely poem, it made me laugh. We need more humour on this site. Happy New Year to you and yours, including the pooch! !
